NOTE FROM THE REID FAMILY
On February 15, 2010, Michelle and
David Folden leased Stono River Stable and are now operating their
business as Stono River Riding Academy. The Reid family is pleased that
Stono River Stable, established in 1969 by Marion Reid, will be able to
continue into the next generation as a treasured private resource for
the Lowcountry Community.
While Stono River Riding Academy is
offering the same programs and horses that have always been available at
Stono River Stable, the Foldens are also making some great changes and
additions. The Foldens have extensive equestrian experience and
have plans to create a complete riding facility offering all levels of
training for children and adults.
